Dean's Memorial Day

Today was 2 years since Dean died on the futon in the game room from a deadly cocktail of prescription pharmaceuticals. May all of the big pharmaceutical companies burn in Hell.

I placed new flowers in Dean's vase and pointed them toward his Mom lying beside him. I have decided to buy some Silk flowers for Mom's ground.

There is only dirt on Mom's ground but I raked the dirt nice and even and raked off Dean's grass too. After 2 years his grass still does not look very good. Annoyingly, there are moles in the Klein churchyard as well.

I tried to recite the Lord's Prayer but I only butchered what I did remember. I vow to memorize the 23rd psalm.

Karl has been very ill for some day's now and I did not expect him to go with me to Klein. I just hope he will go on his own over the Memorial Day weekend.

In the final analysis I stood at both Mom's and Dean's feet in disbelief and wonderment as to how I arrived at a situation with only one Son, my youngest. Karl will graduate in 2 days on the 29th and I am not at all sure about his future. I can only keep plugging away at the issues that surround us now: bills-to-pay and how to attain some student financial aid and utlimately how to get Karl a job.

The above bullets is why I do more praying these days than final analysis thinking.

Googled for: weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException with variations on this theme to no avail.

After talking to: BM I have decided to created a separate local client to test the Context and other possible issues.

I completed the separate test client (LookupEJB) and it is definitely connecting to WL via the input URL and getting the ResearchClerk method needed to execute the PendMoveProcess class. But, no solution to the first bullet above.

Dean Brown

Today is Dean's 22nd birthday. I have updated his memorial website (www.deanbrown.name).

I have eulogized his birthday here and on Twitter.

Yesterday: Karl and I went and bought a very nice large pedestal pot with 12 Dianthus flowers. I could not get anything in yellow so the Dianthus red will have to do until Spring.

I am hoping the Dianthus will live up to their claim for winter time hardiness.

This is the first birthday since Dean's drug-associates, drug-dealers and the drugs took Dean away from us.

We are getting a new president soon and I would like to think the new pres would step-up the war-on-drugs but I 'm not holding my breath.

It really sucks how many billions the U.S. government gives outright to foreign governments and the patriots of these foreign government that hate the U.S. And, at the same time the patriots of these foreign governments that hate the U.S. are pumping billions of dollars in drugs-that-kill into the U.S.!

LifeGift ceremony for Dean

Helen and I drove to the Crowne Plaza in Houston on Fri. 8/18 for the medallion award ceremony for Dean and all of the LifeGift donor families.

The ceremony was very well done with a live choir that sang at the start and the closing. I don't really remember what they sang.

There was a large screen with the photos of all of the donors including Dean. Dean's photo was impressive and in his tuxedo he was quite striking. The medal that was awarded appears to be bronze and is quite large and heavy. I hope we can get the medal put into a frame someday.

Unfortunately, I got very upset and could not stop the tears. I was not making any noise but I apparently irritated some people.

It is hard for me not to get upset now since Helen is starting chemo-therapy tomorrow.

I emailed Karl today and ask that he watch her and help and comfort her. Karl is a very good man. He replied that he was going to do whatever he needed to do to help her.

I'm praying almost daily in hopes that it will help Helen.

FAFDS Work Journal

After 3 attempts I was able to get Mike Southern up-and-running on the Oracle prod. DB using the qcreport.jar (Super Audit). Mostly issues concerning the reports.properties file (jdbc.url, appserver.url, passwords and user ids).

As expected Mike Southern came back w/ a request for more work via Bugzilla. His request included a request for the Product field selection. ME created a new Product field selection for me and I replied back to Mike Southern with this new info.

I am attempting to create a table ERD using middlegen but unsuccessful so far.

RK at EOD talked to me about ensuring that XythosProxy is buildable and available to him as required.
